Hiking in the Nurra Coast. Enchanting coastal scenery
This is one of those places I used to venture to as a child, and the magic of those days spent exploring every single ravine is revived every time I come here or decide to return. The atmosphere here is magical, the energy of nature is almost palpable and gives one a deep personal feeling.
We are on the Nurra coast, an area that has always been described by history as a land of conquest.
Just think that in the 18th century, so not too long ago, in the innermost parts of the Nurra region, a large number of fugitive bandits found refuge to escape justice.
This is an area that holds traces of the Nuragic civilisation, thousands of years of history, and still hides many mysteries.
The sea and the wind have shaped this rocky coastline, offering a breathtaking panorama.
Words cannot describe the amazing colour of the sea along this coastline.
