Hiking in Alghero allows you to explore the coastline in search of hidden corners of paradise.

Along the coastline that leads from Alghero to Bosa, there are layers of sandstone that have shaped the coastline, giving it bizarre shapes that continue to change thanks to the continuous erosion of wind and water.

This stretch of coastline was popular since ancient times, as evidenced by some shelters under rocks and a long row of boulders arranged for about one kilometre in length, on which several hypotheses have been made, all very fascinating.

A little further on, we reach a small paradise on earth made up of rocks and natural pools, where we can clearly see even more ancient layers of sedimentary rock.

However, the surprises certainly do not end here; in fact, the route offers many other inlets of extraordinary beauty.

The tour ends with a visit to an old sandstone quarry, now disused.
